DOLAN - Assuring optimal sun protection

Dolan is a branded acrylic fibre and stands for supreme quality. In the course of a special wet spinning process, pigments are injected into the fibre during production. Therefore Dolan meets the most demanding requirements regarding light and weather fastness and is ideally suited for the production of outdoor fabrics such as awnings, sun umbrellas and sun shades.

Dolan allows for the production of fabrics that offer excellent fabric strength and abrasion resistance. These properties are crucial particularly for products that are exposed to different weather conditions and frequently used over a period of many years. Fabrics made of Dolan can block up to 90% of UV-rays and protect from bright light.
